artVentures is for new and emerging collectors of contemporary art. This means that you are interested in starting a collection or that you already have a collection of contemporary art that you want to further develop. Anyone can join, as with our help you will be able to build a unique collection that suits your personality and your budget.

artVentures memberships are not for artists (unless they are collectors too), although we do include artists in many of our events.

No. There are collectors of both wealthy and modest means. For example, the Vogels built a world-renowned collection of art by collecting, from emerging artists in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, on the salary of a teacher and a postal worker. By the same token, if you have greater means you can collect from more established artists. There are great programs to help those of modest means collect any art they want, including long-term payment plans. Moreover, collecting art can give you a tax break.

artVentures membership events are held once a month. Members r.s.v.p. for each event so that we can organize logistics (for instance, ensuring we invite enough artists and that we provide lots of food and beverage).

In addition to our monthly members events, the calendar shows our partner gallery events, which our members are invited and encouraged to attend.

An annual membership for an individual costs $500 and for a couple it costs $900. This includes entrance to 8 events a year, a one-hour private consultation, membership to one of our two public galleries and lots of informal consultations throughout the year via email, telephone and social media.

You can sign up whenever you desire. As artVentures is a rolling membership your membership lasts one year from the date you enroll.
